A hidegen sajtolt dióolaj egy rendkívül finom, ízletes olaj. Nekem a személyes nagy kedvencem. De nem csak az ízéért imádom, hanem a sok-sok értékes összetevőéért is. Ezeknek az összetevőknek hála a hidegen sajtolt dióolaj fogyasztása jelentős mértékben hozzájárulhat a szervezeted egészséges működéséhez.
Mely területeken lehet jótékony hatása?

Ez azt jelenti, hogy a magokat megtisztítjuk, megszárítjuk és a szárítás után egy csigás prés segítségével kisajtoljuk. A sajtolás során nem használunk magas hőmérsékletet, hiszen az károsítaná az értékes összetevőket, valamint nem használunk adalékanyagokat sem.
Vannak olyan gyártók azonban, akik a nagyobb kihozatal érdekében, illetve más szempontok miatt a magokat a tisztítás, szárítás után ledarálják, sóval és vízzel elegyítik és az így kapott masszát magas hőmérsékleten lepirítják. Ez a melegen sajtolás, de ha a palackon hagyományos eljárást, őrségi eljárást vagy hasonló kifejezést találsz, akkor szintén ezzel az olajjal állsz szemben. Ezek az olajok is finomak, de véleményem szerint a magas hőmérséklet alkalmazása miatt kevésbé alkalmasak egészségmegőrzésre, mint a valódi hidegen sajtolt olajok.
